What are Full and Final Settlements?

  • This is where customers have obtained finance but it is not enough to clear all debts in full
  • This is an informal arrangement and sometimes called partial settlements
  • Customers must be in financial difficulty
  • Customers must have at least 3 creditors
  • Customers credit file maybe affected but debt will show as satisfied
  • May write off a percentage of debt
